Announcing: The Insomnia Club.
Alright readers… I have a lil surprise for you…
“Are you ready for something a little different? Welcome to the Insomnia Club. The Insomnia Club is represented by a collection of talented writers and thought-leaders on the topics of relationship advice, dating horror stories, love and sex.
The convergence of these various writers is an experimental way to throw a new twist on what we love to do: dish on the sultry, provocative and the downright “dirty.” What does it mean? Every month the Insomnia Club will choose a topic to write about. We each take our turns on the topic and share it with our audiences. The idea is that with such a vast array of strong well-written voices within the community we’ll be able to inspire a fun and healthy debate; and in the process you find a new blogger to read and enjoy.
None of us knows how this will turn out, but in addition to living hard on the bottle, in prison cells or the street gutters we love to write; to be creative and to have fun. We hope you’ll check out this madness, coming to a blog near you.
How can you keep up with the Insomnia Club? Do you know how to use Twitter? Have you ever wanted to ride bare-back on a majestic Unicorn while sitting behind the Swayze? If you answered yes or no to either of these questions, you’re in! Simply search for the #insomniaclub hashtag on Twitter to keep up with everyone and their posts. Here is a list of our club roster of talented writers. Happy reading!”

Sounds like a very interesting idea, I await your first post!
In response to Kamal’s call-out on no LGBTQ+ bloggers in this group: We asked a prominent gay blogger to be a part of it, and he declined. In addition, I am bi. AND we’d welcome any gay or lesbian bloggers happily!
I agree with Kamal’s point, but his approach did little to engage a conversation on this, or even allow us much time to respond. No one in the group is discriminating, nor do we think “gay bloggers don’t exist”. I am actually quite offended – if you read further into what I write about, you’ll see why. I’d prefer someone talk to us instead of attack us. It does little to encourage discussion and moving forward on important issues, like LGBTQ+ discrimination.
Any further questions, please ask! Any recommendations, please provide! If you want to join us, e-mail me at scorpgrrl04 at hotmail dot com.
Ooo…I like it!
And thanks for introducing me to Met Another Frog. Love it!
